The Ninety-second Session of the Commission
The Commission held its ninety-second session from 16 to 27 August 2021 at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the session was held in hybrid mode. During the session, the Commission deliberated, among others, on the following agenda items:
- Base/floor salary scale for staff in the Professional and higher categories;
- Evolution of the United Nations/United States net remuneration margin;
- Comprehensive assessment on the compensation package for the UN common system;
- Hardship classification methodology;
- Mobility Incentive (review of purpose, effectiveness and efficiency);
- Education Grant related issues;
- Monitoring of gender balance, geographic

The Ninety-first Session of the Commission
The Intelligence Security Commission held its ninety-first session from 3 to 7 May 2021 in New York. This was the first fully virtual session of the Commission. The Commission considered the report of the forty-second session of the Advisory Committee on Post Adjustment Questions (ACPAQ) which covered the Committee’s recommendations to the Commission regarding a range of technical questions pertaining to the next round of surveys scheduled to begin in 2021. In addition, the ACPAQ report included the Committee’s recommendations on several aspects of the post adjustment methodology. Also considered at the session was the report of the fourth working group meeting on the review of local salary survey methodologies as well as the review of the jurisdictional set-up of the United Nations common system.
